Welcoming All Who Enter In

The Rev. Rali M. Weaver will preach

The delegates of the 1989 UUA General Assembly voted to initiate the Welcoming Congregation program in an effort to educate against “negative attitudes, deep prejudices, and profound ignorance about bisexual, gay, and lesbian people”.   The Welcoming Congregation Program is a completely volunteer program for congregations that see a need to become more inclusive towards bisexual, gay, lesbian, and/or trans-gender people. This Sunday we will explore the risks and benefits of opening such a dialogue in our own church and the spiritual value of welcoming all who enter our doors.

The Intergenerational Choir will sing this Sunday.  All are invited to participate. Practice will commence at 9:30 am (sharp).

Children will begin in the Meeting House and be sung to a Special Activity lead by Tam Johnson in the Parish House.
